I previously wrote about some bizarre British laws that made me chuckle.

Today, here are a few more strange pieces of legislation from around the world -

1. In Ohio, it is illegal to get a fish drunk.
2. In Indonesia, the penalty for masturbation is decapitation.
3. A male doctor in Bahrain can only examine the genitals of a woman in the reflection of a mirror.
4. In Switzerland, a man may not relieve himself standing up after 10pm.
5. It is legal for men to have sex with female animals in Lebanon, but having sex with male animals is punishable by death.
6. It is illegal to be blindfolded while driving a vehicle in Alabama.
7. In Cali, Colombia, a woman may only have sex with her husband, and the first time this happens her mother must be in the room to witness the act.
8. In South Korea Police are obliged to declare all bribes received from motorists.
9. In Florida, unmarried women who parachute on a Sunday could be jailed.
10. Women in Vermont must obtain written permission from their husbands to wear false teeth.



11. It’s illegal for a man to shoot a gun when his female partner has an orgasm in Connorsville, Wisconsin.
12. In Milan, it is a legal requirement to smile at all times, except during funerals or hospital visits.
13. In France, it is illegal to name a pig Napoleon.
14. In Singapore it is illegal to perform oral sex unless it is part of foreplay leading to full sex.
15. Women in Sweden are allowed to engage in prostitution but it is illegal for men to use their services.
16. When in Kentucky any female wishing to bathe on any highway within the state must escorted by at least two officers, or be armed with a club. However, this statute does not apply to any female weighing more than 200 pounds.
17. It is illegal to go to college in China unless you can prove that you are intelligent.
18. Also in China, it is forbidden to rescue a drowning person as that would be interfering with their fate.
19. In Islamic countries it is illegal to eat a lamb after having sex with it.
20. In Texas it is an offence to commit a crime unless you give the intended victim at least 24 hours notice, either orally or in writing, and explain the nature of the intended crime.
