This is part 3 of 3 in today’s Hoax or Truth quiz.

Part 1 : Huge snake pulls cow out of the water?

Part 2 : Half-man, half-tree?

Burglar forced to clean house at gunpoint.

An American couple turned the tables on a burglar that they discovered ransacking their home by dispensing their unique blend of justice.

Instead of waiting for the police to arrive, the couple instead handed out their own form of punishment – they made the burglar tidy their house at gunpoint!

The would-be thief was caught red-handed when Adrian and Tiffany McKinnon returned to their home near Montgomery, Alabama, after spending a week away.

They returned to find that their house had been burgled.

When Adrian walked into another room to check what was missing he came face to face with the burglar who, strangely, was wearing one of Mrs. McKinnon’s hats.

Mr. McKinnon held the burglar, Tajuan Bullock, at gunpoint and made him sit down until he decided what to do.

‘We made this man clean up all the mess he made, piles of stuff, he had thrown out of my drawers and cabinets onto the floor,’ Mrs. McKinnon said.

When the police arrived Bullock complained to them about having to clean up his mess at gunpoint.

‘This man had the nerve to raise sand about us making him clean up the mess he made in my house,’ said Mrs McKinnon.

The attending police officer, however, laughed at Bullock’s complaint and told him that anybody else would have  probably just shot him dead.

Tajuan Bullock was arrested on burglary and theft charges and held in Montgomery County Detention Facility.

Is this a true story or a hoax?

I know this is old but I tried reading the story about the snake and the cow and it says the page cannot be found. Is there a problem?

Yes there is, thanks for spotting it! (It’s one of the posts that got lost when my database crashed last year – I’ll see if I still have a copy of it…)
