Diamonds Terminated By Alticor

Alticor, the parent company of two high profile multi level marketing companies, Amway and Quixtar, are continuing to make changes in order to counter some of their recent bad press and to regain their respectability in the marketplace.
A short while ago Alticor made the announcement that they would be reverting back to the Amway brand, phasing out the less well received Quixtar brand in North America.
Futher evidence of their reforms comes through the news that they have terminated the contracts of the founders of IBS (International Business Systems). From the Amway Media blog -
“We can confirm that we have terminated the contracts of Diamonds Jerry Scriven, Dave Butler and Pat Gregory, and we have not offered them contracts as Amway Business Owners. Mr Scriven and Mr Gregory, the founders of IBS (International Business Systems), have been unsupportive of Amway UK’s reforms and new mode of operations. To be absolutely clear, the activities of IBS are not approved by Amway UK/RoI. The new mode of operation and the moratorium on BSMs in the UK is obviously bad news for IBS, even if it is great news for ABOs. Interestingly, a significant number of Amway Business Owners who have in the past associated with IBS have chosen to transition with us into the new mode. In total, more than 7,000 ABOs from around the UK and RoI, including those formerly affiliated with IBS, have done so.”
One can only wonder how much further Alticor will go in their efforts to regain respectability…
