An Apollo Astronaut, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, grew up in Roswell, New Mexico.
His family, being farmers and ranchers, knew the family who claimed that an alien spacecraft crashed near their property, northwest of Roswell in 1947.
Mitchell, who may have links with the CIA, claims that in later life, due to being an astronaut who went to the moon, he was able to learn about the event from high ranking military and intelligence people who confirmed that the crash of an alien craft really DID happen.
He believes that the government may well be involved in a back-engineering progam, though he’s not sure whether or not they have been successful.
Do you believe that Dr. Mitchell is correct, or is Roswell simply a huge hoax?

I would trust your first thoughts and instictive feelings, about the UFO phemnoma, before I would trust any other claims, particùally those sources that have a vested interest in dissinformation.
Yes..you are còrrect about governments misleading their peoples
about these issues.
It is not easy to live in a socìety where the authorities
manipulate the meadia, control what the scientist have to say
about disacovery and invention, and spend huge amounts of taxpayers money finding ways to dumb down their populations.
The burning question, for me, is why our governments attempt to keep us in the dark.
Do you have any thoughts on that Brian?
Do you believe that Dr. Mitchell is correct, or is Roswell simply a huge hoax?
For any one to ask that question in the first place, would
indicate that they have been locked up in a sealed room with no communication what so ever with the outside world for their
entire life.
The only hoax in this regard is the lies that have been
metered out by the US authorities over the last 60 years.
Reading some of the former comments on this subject
would indicate a seriously low level of IQ by the writers.
“The only hoax in this regard is the lies that have been
metered out by the US authorities over the last 60 years.”
Come on Brian, you can’t leave a statement like that without expanding upon what you believe those lies to be…
Well scam, thank you for your reply,`
as your persona says, most of all the comments made by government funded scientifc research establishments into space programs not forgetting,
military supervised investigations into UFO discoveries they have all been ruthlessly censored , omissions
are abundant, you could call it “scam”
I have had at least 50 years to learn the truth,
Lying is the most profitable industry on the Earth.
I would recommend that you take advantage of the Internet
and ask all the pertinent questions, just like I have done. You will relish your enlightnment.
Unfortunately, I think that being a little fish in a large sea means that I will never know what the ‘truth’ is.
I agree that research throws up a lot of misdirection and contradiction which makes official reports of any UFO incident suspect at best.
Personally, I really did used to believe in UFOs and I do still think that it would be arrogant to presume that we are alone in this galaxy.
However, in latter years I can’t help but think that governments have allowed the ‘alien thing’ to grow and go wild to act as a cover for other goings-on, such as top secret technological advancements of our own.
I could, of course, be wrong!
It was a weather balloon, everyone knows that!
Are you sure Col?
Nope, but that’s what “they” want us to believe
BTW did you see that the MOD said there were 285 UFO sightings in the UK last year? (maybe aliens are real?)
Ah, but who exactly are “they” ???
Yes, I did read that but still don’t believe in aliens!
yep, saw two documents about it and it definitelly was a weather balloon, the best part were the “marks” from the sticky tape
