Scam Types dot Com

That title sounds like a worthy follow up to the hitman scam. However, it isn’t, instead it is almost certainly a scam intended to gain credit card information, or bank account info, or both. Maybe even a full identity theft ruse too.

This is the email -

Notice how it is sent in html format to enable them to use colour codes - colour FFFFFF is white, ie invisible, so that they can throw in some rubbish, presumeably to bypass any spam filters.

As ever, a company with attorneys,and yet they really use a free email service? In this case the real email address is - Asset_Swap_oligotrophic@gmail.com

Their dialling code, by the way, is for Palm Springs in Florida. Pandering to people’s greed or desperation to escape debt, I imagine they may actually get a few calls. A bit cheeky getting people to pay to get scammed though isn’t it?!?
