Of course this isn’t really a private detective who has been hired to track you. In fact, it’s not even a scam designed for extortion.

It’s purpose is to get you to read the attached file which is supposedly a record of a telephone conversation. In reality, it is a nasty piece of malware known as TROJ_AGENT.AAPN that you really wouldn’t want to have on your system.

If you receive the email above then don’t panic and don’t open the attachment. Just delete it.
