Scams

October proved to be another fruitful month for Scam Types dot Com with another increase in average RSS subscriptions, comments left and visitor numbers.

October stats

RSS

The number of people who subscribe to Scam Types dot Com via email or their RSS reader climbed from an average of 102 in September to an October average of 144.

Visitors

The month of October saw visitor numbers increase from 42,646 to 59,896.

That’s a jump of 40%!!

With an average of 1932 visitors per day, the site came within just 2 Megabytes of exceeding it’s bandwith limit in October, so now is the time to upgrade the hosting package.

Comments

With both Jon and Aruna well and truly exceeding 100 comments in October, as well as a large number of new commentators, there were just under 1,500 new comments left over the course of the month.

Personally, I find this number quite staggering, especially when you consider that it had taken 10 months to reach the first 1,000 comments which came in the first few days of that month.

October highlights

Hopefully, visitors found value in a large number of the posts I made in October. However, here are a few of my own favourites -

Call 911 Or You Die made me smile when it was picked up by Bryan Appleyard of The Times whose name I had used in relation to a hoax email.

A slightly overlooked post that I enjoyed writing asked whether the Kimkins diet was a scam.

Galilea Montijo And The Porn Video Hoax is a favourite, simply because I enjoy looking at her picture!

Hoax or not, The Artless Dog Killer provoked some controversy amongst the commentators, something which hopefully provoked some interest in the point of the post - cruelty to dogs.

My post about Halloween being a scam was notable as it revealed Aruna’s true likeness - her picture is the last one visible.

Lastly, questioning why Monavie costs so much was a simple post that appealed to my sometimes warped sense of humour.

I agree with your sentiments about Galilea Montijo, she is a fine looking woman.
