Scam Emails

This following email that I just received is certainly a new variant on the advance fee model. Instead of the usual plane crash or cancer or relative who died in the war, this scammer ingeniously utilises Global Warming within his text.

Personally, I believe the hype surrounding global warming and the premature death of our planet is complete rubbish, but there are an awful lot of people who believe the complete opposite and are quite fanatical about it.

Considering that, they might just reply to this email without realising what they are letting themselves in for, namely an advance fee scam.

You see, a search for the email address quoted - zeerafi12@aol.com - shows that it is associated with various scam emails that are detailed on over half a dozen sites…. I guess this scammer wasn’t as bright as first thought and should have used an alternative email address!!
