Its been around 18 months since I wrote my article about the Kimkins diet and much has happened since then.
Here’s a quick roundup of what the web is saying about Kimkins and it’s creator, Heidi Diaz -
1. Diet Scams placed the Kimkins diet at #3 on it’s list of the worst diets of 2008, highlighting that it’s inventor weighs over 300 pounds.
2. About.com has an interesting article that lays out the timeline of the Kimkins diet from 2002 until March 2008.
3. Casewatch.org lists the case filed against ‘Kimmer’ on October 15th 2007.
4. Diets in Review looked at the pros and cons of the Kimkins diet and concluded that there were no pros at all.
5. Say “No” to Kimkins reported that Diaz’ attempts to declare herself bankrupt had failed and that the Kimkins Class Action Lawsuit would now progress.
6. Mariosol claims that Kimmer is now on Facebook but not using her own picture on her profile.
7. Kimkins Lawsuit has up-to-date information on how the case is progressing.
8. Kimorexia notes that Heidi Diaz has discovered social networking sites, joining MySpace, LinkedIn and Twitter to name just a few.
9. Kimtanic makes mention of a possible new site from Kimmer that offers a diet which, this time, is not low carb. (Anyone got any further info on that?)
10. Finally, Borat Does Kimkins adds a little humor to the subject!
Have you got any news on the Kimkins diet that you can add to this list?
